Cookie Policy
UBT Pay keeps its use of cookies deliberately small. This page lists every category we rely on and what each one does.
1. Strictly necessary
- Session storage: holds your signed-in session token so you are not logged out between pages. Without it, payments cannot be authorised.
- Security tokens: protect forms and payment requests against cross-site abuse.
2. Preference storage
Light or dark theme, language and "remember me" choices are stored locally in your browser so the app looks and behaves the same on your next visit. Clearing browser storage resets them.
3. Analytics
Where analytics is enabled, it is limited to aggregated, non-identifying product usage such as page views and feature adoption. It is never used to build advertising profiles.
4. Third-party cookies
Our payment gateway partner may set cookies during checkout to complete and secure the transaction. These are governed by the gateway's own privacy policy.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and bill payments from working.
